Hi, I’m Victoria-Leigh
(But most people call me Tori)
I’m an illustrator and crafter originally from South Africa but I am now based in the heart of Cheshire capturing the unique and delicate details of our native botanicals and wildlife with my paintbrushes.
Nature has always inspired my work, right from when I was little and my mom would take me and my sister out on weekly nature walks to learn about the beauty of our natural world.
I still find the bulk of my inspiration from my walks along the nearby canal or just from sitting in the garden with the cats watching the bees buzz around the flowers, with the sun warm on my back.
I find that the slow and simple process of painting and being surrounded by nature has become my form of escapism from such a fast paced and material world.
